All cartridges and accessories are available for the 20” and 25” models. All cartridges feature a heavy-duty reinforced metal
housing with solid steel main shaft supported by sealed ball bearings.
VERTICUTTER
A row of tightly spaced steel blades with sharpened tips to slice through the lawn to remove debris and thatch for better air circulation and nutrient absorption by allowing water and nutrients to reach the grassroots more effectively. It lightly contacts the surface breaking up compacted soil to prepare for overseeding and the development of a denser, healthier turf by stimulating lateral growth. Verticutting aids in controlling weed growth byeliminating the favorable environment that weeds thrive in, ultimately reducingthe need for herbicides. Overall, incorporating verticutting into lawn carepractices leads to a more vibrant, resilient, and visually appealing lawn.
DETHATCHER
Large steel blade tines rotate to aggressively remove the layer of dead grass, roots, and other debris to promote better airflow, water penetration, and nutrient absorption into the soil. This facilitates deeper root growth, resulting in a healthier and more resilient lawn that is better equipped to withstand stress from foot traffic, weather fluctuations, and pests. Furthermore, dethatching prevents thatch buildup, which can create a breeding ground for diseases and pests, leading to a decreased need for chemical treatments. Dethatching enhances the overall aesthetics of the lawn by promoting a lush and uniform appearance, making it an integral part of comprehensive lawn care.
SCARIFIER
With multiple and offset rotating arms with a total of 4 spring tines on each end, it provides a less aggressive type of dethatching as it combs the lawn without penetrating the soil surface to remove the dead grass and other debris to help promote better airflow, water penetration, and nutrient absorption. Excessive thatch buildup can create a breeding ground for diseases and pests, leading to a decreased need for chemical treatments. Scarifying a can result in healthier and more resilient lawn that is better equipped to withstand stress from foot traffic, weather fluctuations, and pests.
LAWN BRUSH
The moderate bristle stiffness and density provides a thorough cleaning, reaching deeper into the grass to remove excess dirt, leaves, and other debris. The Catalyst base unit delivers consistent power and controlled propel to ensure uniform results across the entire lawn, avoiding uneven patches, while the height adjustment settings allow you to customize the cleaning intensity according to the type of debris and the condition of your lawn. It can also be used before mowing to help pull grass upright that has matted down for a better cut, plus it can be used in between mowings, it can help reestablish uniform patterns to create moderate striping effects.
AERATOR
The heavy steel core surrounded with large, pointed spikes perforate the soil with small holes to allow air, water, and nutrients to penetrate deeply into the grassroots. This process improves soil drainage, preventing water from pooling on the surface and reducing the risk of waterlogging and root rot. Additionally, aeration helps to alleviate soil compaction, which can occur due to foot traffic, heavy machinery, or natural settling over time. Loosening compacted soil allows grassroots to spread more easily and promotes better nutrient absorption. Moreover, aeration encourages the breakdown of thatch, promoting a healthier microbial environment and reducing the risk of disease. Aerating promotes stronger root development, improves drainage, and enhances nutrient uptake, resulting in a lusher, greener, and more resilient lawn.
7-BLADE REEL
The ideal choice for cutting heights from 0.50” (13mm) to the maximum of 1.25” (30 mm). It has 0.125” (4mm) thick steel blade material with a relief grind angle which creates a smaller blade contact area resulting in less friction, extending the wear life. Compared to a flat or spin grind edge blade, it reduces squeezing and tearing of the grass to maintain a more precise shearing cut which prevents brown tips and a lusher lawn appearance. It’s also beneficial for backlapping as it provides more even distribution of grinding compound.
10-BLADE REEL
Best for ultra-low cutting heights from 1/2" (13mm) down to 1/8” (3mm). It has 0.125” (4mm) thick steel blade material with a relief grind angle which creates a smaller blade contact area resulting in less friction, extending the wear life. SMOOTH FRONT ROLLER
Includes a thick steel tube core with large diameter sealed ball bearings to provide a level and consistent height of cut while helping to prevent scalping.
GROOVED FRONT ROLLER
Provides the same level cut and scalp prevention benefits with straighter tracking and less floating in thick grass. Its two sections have large diameter sealed ball bearings and rotate independently to help prevent furrowing and tearing into the lawn when turning.
